Event Description

Join FWD.us and Net Impact LA for an evening focused on immigration issues in the United States, the current Presidential election and debate on the topic, and the prospects for comprehensive reform. We will be joined by a panel of immigration academics, advocates, and lawyers who will share stories of their immigration background and work, as well as why immigration reform is critical to the strengthening of our economy and communities.

After the panel, we will break out into our two project teams - story collection and brand building. You will be able to hear how our the FWD.us LA Chapter members are actively involved in advocating for immigration reform.

Drinks and light appetizers will be provided.

FWD.us is an organization started by key leaders in the tech community to promote policies to keep the United States and its citizens competitive in a global economy—including comprehensive immigration reform. Learn more about the LA chapter - http://www.fwd.us/chapter_la
