About this event

The Innovation Economy has the potential to create immense social change and massive economic prosperity for those who have the opportunity to participate in the growing number of startups and accelerator labs established by large enterprises. It is quickly supplanting —and in some cases surpassing— the promises of the white-collar career so many aspire to develop. What then does it take to break into the innovation economy and to start tapping into this potential as an innovator and leader?

The event includes a professional development workshop "Rise to the Top" ($25 per person) hosted by LatinaVIDA and a free afternoon program.  Discounts are available if you attend both events!  If you are looking for new ways to raise your career profile, develop your network for  your next move, and look at your work life "blend"--this workshop will inspire and inform how to make it all happen.

Some of the confirmed speakers include: Beatriz Acevedo (founder of MITU), Julissa Arce (Define America, Activist), Audrey Bellis (Founder of Worthy Women), Prisca Rodriguez (founder of Latina Rebels) and many others
